Eris Properties developed the
Corporate Head Quarters for and on
behalf of FNB Namibia Holdings Ltd.
The 43 572m² project illustrates the
strength and stability that is FNB.
In keeping with FNB’s leadership
through innovation in the Banking
industry, the objective to develop
the first 4 Green Star Rated Building
in Namibia was unsurprising.
The project was developed in
conjunction with Boogertman +
Partners Johannesburg, taking the
lead on design and documentation.
The Namibian Landscape, with
its five (5) geographical areas and
Climate strongly influenced the
concept and design philosophy.
The choice of textures and external
finishes also drew its inspiration
from the Local Context. This was
continued into the Building, with
each floor representative of a
geological area in Namibia. Both the
outer and inner landscapes were
developed in the form of urban
‘gardens’ and precincts defining the
public and private realms.
